CHRISTMAS GRANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ

For our Christmas 2024 grant round, if you have met the eligibility criteria, you can apply for any or all of the four grant options available noting they must be used for the option applied for and supported:

  • Christmas toys (uncapped)
Although there is no cap on the number of toys you can apply for, we cannot guarantee that all toys requested can be granted. However, we will do our best to meet all requests.

  • Cash grant (capped at $2,000) for a Christmas celebration
Each year, workers, volunteers, and those committed to their charities, selflessly give their time to ensuring others’ needs are met. The Trust believes it is important for these people to come together to celebrate Christmas and the year’s achievements. This cash grant is intended to provide charity supporters a Christmas Celebration, which can include (but is not limited to) catering/ modest restaurant meals, activities.

  • Cash grant (capped at $2,000 or larger amounts at the discretion of the Board) to supplement meal services over the festive season
This grant (proudly supported by Mosaic Property Group) is intended to subsidise charities providing meal services for the vulnerable and those experiencing food insecurity over the Christmas and New Year period. This grant can be used to supplement the charities usual offerings with special festive foods/goods, for both the Christmas and New Year period or also to expand services during this period.

  • Cash grant (capped at $1,000) to purchase gift cards for clients
The Trust recognises that some clients may need additional support over the Christmas period. This grant is intended to enable charities to purchase small denomination gift cards for those clients that may need support to buy food and small gifts. This grant is subject to the following requirements:
    • Receipt of gift card purchase/s must be provided at acquittal
    • Gift cards must not be used for items such as cigarettes, alcohol and online gaming

All receipts must be provided and detailed on your acquittal form. Unspent funds will be required to be returned. It is important that the funds are expended in accordance with the above criteria and your supported grant application.

If you do not receive a confirmation of submission email then you should presume that your submission has NOT been submitted.

Hint: also check the email hasn't landed in your spam or junk email folder.

ATTACHMENTS AND SUPPORT DOCUMENTS

You may need to upload/submit attachments to support your application. This is very simple, but requires you to have the documents saved on your computer, or on a storage device.

You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we do recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB – the larger the file, the longer the upload time.

COMPLETING AN APPLICATION IN A GROUP/TEAM

A number of people can work on an application using the same log in details as long as only one person is working at a time. Ensure you save as you go.

SPELL CHECK

Most internet browsers (including Firefox v2.0 and above; Safari; and Google Chrome) have spell checking facilities built in – you can switch this function on or off by adjusting your browser settings.
